May 26, 2025Living here has been rough. Black mould on my window sill and a faulty window latch that leaves my bedroom wide open. The kitchen ceiling was plastered and still hasnt dried after months. Definitely not what I expected.

May 22, 2025I would not recommend Scotia Quay. The accommodation has really affected my mental health during my short stay here. Thankfully Im moving out soon.

May 17, 2025The wifi is fast and having your own bathroom is a plus. Its generally peaceful and quiet. But security is constantly entering flats without reason which feels invasive. The strict rules and constant monitoring make it feel like a boarding school or prison. The location is quite far from campus, and the mini bus is often late.

April 29, 2025Security staff are too strict, making you feel like youre being watched all the time. I wish there were more communal spaces for students to hang out and relax instead of just kitchens in each flat.

April 29, 2025The communal areas are often dirty and the water pressure in the showers is very poor. Kitchen lights switch off after a while and take ages to come back on. Hot water is often boiling which can be dangerous, and the tap leaks causing a damp smell. Not much social space either as there arent enough chairs.

April 13, 2025The location is a bit far from campus but the mini bus service helps if it runs on time. I appreciate the peacefulness here but the lack of social areas makes it hard to meet others inside.

March 2, 2025Scotia Quay has lovely views and nice walking paths around the area, especially in the summer. The flats mostly only have kitchens so social spaces are limited, making it quite compact when you just want to relax indoors. Security deals quickly with any suspicious people around at night.
